Cassandra Anne Wilson, a student of Minisink Valley High School, died tragically on July 5, 2012 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla as a result of an accident. She was 16.
The daughter of Ernest and Beth A. Seeber Wilson, she was born on August 23, 1995 in Warwick, NY. Cassandra was a lifetime resident of the area, a Minisink Valley student and a member of the Minisink Valley Cheerleading Squad who loved to cheer. She dreamed of being an EMT and eventually a medical student. She became an organ donor, giving even after her death. She was always helpful and giving and was loved by her family and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Bradley and two sisters, Alycia and Kelsey; her grandparents, Georgia Freeman of Sussex, NJ, Frank Seeber and his wife Ann of Warwick, and Carol M. Wilson of Huguenot. She is also survived by her friends and family at the Warwick Drive In, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation hours will be from 4 to 6 pm on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Service in Remembrance will be held at 6 pm on Monday evening at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc.
