Carol Falcone January 9, 1937 to March 2, 2022
Carol Diane Falcone passed away on March 2, 2022, at Garnet Medical Center in Middletown New York at the age of 85.
She was born January 9,1937 in Brooklyn, New York to parents Vincent and Elizabeth Driscoll. After graduating high school, she went to nursing school and worked at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn until she met the love of her life, Peter Falcone who she wed in 1964. From that time, she dedicated her life to raising her family.
She is survived by her daughters Jill Doti and her husband Sandy of Middletown New York as well as Tara Pedone and her fiancé William Pollina of Southhold New York and beloved son-in-law Michael Pedone of Centereach New York.
She was a devoted grandmother and loved dearly by her six grandchildren Jourdan, Johanna, and Jillian Pedone, and
Michael, Jack, and Kate Doti. She was predeceased by her husband and her younger brother Vincent. Carol had a great love of animals and took in every stray she encountered all of whom became beloved family pets. She enjoyed cooking, baking and
entertaining and her home was always a welcoming place for friends and family. She loved preparing for the holidays, baking Christmas cookies and decorating Easter eggs with her grandchildren and listening to Irish music on St Patrick’s Day.
Although she was a great prankster, somehow, she usually became the victim of her family’s pranks instead.
She was a beloved friend; a great listener and she could always be counted on for guidance and encouragement.
Her wisdom and generosity will be truly missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday March 7th from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home Inc located at 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown NY 10940
A celebration of Carol’s life will take place during the evening session.
Cremation will be private.
