Obituary for Carmen Morales
Carmen Morales, loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, passed away on October 11, 2023 at Garnet Medial Center in Middletown. She was 74.
The daughter of the late Luis and Ramonita Martinez Febus, she was born on May 13, 1949 in Rio Piegras, Puerto Rico. Carmen married Ramon Morales, and they have shared 53 years of marriage together. After leaving the Bronx in 1979, she and Ramon purchased homes in Peekskill and then Middletown, where they finally settled with their two children. She worked as a computer analyst for both U.P.S and I.B.M. Carmen is remembered by her family for her intelligence, creativity and motivation. She was an accomplished computer programmer and a dedicated employee for many years. She was very responsible, loyal and most of all, loved her family. She and Ramon were great dancers who loved to be together.
In addition to her beloved husband Ramon, Carmen is survived by her son Ray and his wife Felicity and daughter, Erica Morales as well as her grandchildren, Lydell Drake and Donovan Williams.
Vistiation will be from 2-4 Private for Family only and 6 to 8 pm Public on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. Cremation will be private.
