Burton (Butch) H. Kanoff Jr., 58, of Bloomingburg, NY passed away on February 28, 2023 of natural causes.
Butch was born on August 31, 1964 to Debra Elliot and Burton H. Kanoff sr. In Middletown, NY. Butch was a second generation auto mechanic with extensive knowledge and talent in the automotive industry. Butch loved to ride his multiple motorcycles and was always the life of the party. He always put a smile on the face of everybody that he met with his fun loving, energetic personality. Butch would drop everything to help anybody that needed him. Butch’s pride and joy was his son Joe.
Butch was predeceased by his grandparents Herbert & Emma Kanoff, and Stella Keese; father Burton H. Kanoff Sr.; uncles William, Herbert, & Lawrence Kanoff; and brother Kenneth Kanoff. Butch is survived by his son Joseph B. Kanoff, daughter in law Tabitha Kanoff; mother Debra Kanoff; fiancé Jessica Fusco; estranged wife and close friend Pamela Sorocco; CLMC family; siblings Gwen Sztark, Cheryl Mincy, Crystal Kanoff, Tammy & Robert Kanoff, Herbert Kanoff, Harry & Sandra Kanoff, Burton & Marlena Kanoff, Robert & Danielle Kanoff, Charles Zahorachek, John & Sarah Kanoff, Larry Kanoff, Timothy Kanoff, Daniel & Lucy Kanoff, & Mark Kanoff; along with aunts, uncles, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Butch will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him, but we'll take comfort in knowing that he will be riding with us for the rest of our days.
Visitation will be at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940 on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 5 to 8 pm. Cremation will follow.
