Obituary for Beverly McKenzie
Beverly McKenzie was born on August 10, 1964 in Goshen, N.Y. She passed away on December 18, 2022 at the age of 58.
Beverly is the daughter of predeceased parents Marlene and Russell Halsey, Sr. She worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield in Middletown, N.Y. for over 15 yrs. plus.
Beverly's hobbies included many collections of vintage tea sets and various items of all sorts.
Beverly leaves behind husband Ansel McKenzie, daughter, Shante Mays, son-in-law, Donte Mays, step-children; Kerry and Troy McKenzie, Grandchildren; Tatiana Thompson, Sha'Tavia Mays, Frand and Ty'Quan Harrison, Ly'Dell Owens and Lamar Mays, sisters; Denise Halsey, Alberta Oats and husband AJ, Christiane Halsey, brothers; Everett Halsey and predeceased Russell Halsy, Jr., Sister-in-law, Hyacinth Gordan and Felicia Cooper, nieces and nephews, Malik Halsey, Romandis Halsey, Raymond Moore, Terrell Johnson, Shadaisa Stevens, Shaniya Halsey, Marlene Halsey, Ce'Nedra Halsey, Tyshaun Halsey, Allannah Halsey, Andrea Oats, Jose Rodriguez, Artez Oats, Donta Oats and Allen R. Halsey. Beverly had many cousins and friends and family.
We love you Beverly, you were the glue to hold the family together. You will be truly missed.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Funeral arrangements will be held at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940.
