Beulah Jane Hall a longtime resident of the area, died on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 84.
One of 13 children born to the late Sylvester and Irene Mae Hess Knable, she was born on July 22, 1929 in Strawberry Ridge, PA. Beulah was a strong mother and grandmother who even drove a stock car in a demolition derby.
Beulah is survived by her children, Deborah Kay Rouner and her husband David of Gardners, PA; Ralph DeLillo and his wife Glenda of Reading, PA, Onna Riley of Rock Hill, Belinda Handler and her husband James of Slate Hill, Roger Delillo and his wife Michelle of Town of Montgomery, Sheila DeJesus and her husband Raymond of Washingtonville, Robert Hall and his wife Emily of Parishville, NY; twenty six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Beulah was predeceased by two husbands, Ralph C. DeLillo and Robert E. Hall, and one son, Frederick in a tragic accident in 1997 as well as her twelve siblings.
Visitation hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the family plot in Southville Cemetery in Stockholm, NY.
