Bettyann Babcock, a retired seamstress, died following a long illness on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Middletown Park Manor Rehabilition Center. She was 77.
The daughter of the late James Babcock and Albin E. Winseck Babcock, she was born on December 5, 1941 in Franklin, NJ. Bettyann worked as a seamstress for many years for Morley Custom Shops in Franklin, NJ. Bettyann’s hobbies included metal detecting and antique collecting. She was a Sussex, NJ resident until she recently moved to the Middletown area to be near her son.
Bettyann is survived by her son Louis and daughter Joanne Morris and her grandchildren, Heather, Desiree, Edward, and Giovanni Guerra.
She was predeceased by her brother Robert Babcock.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Celebration of Bettyann’s life will be held at 7:30 pm on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
