Betty M. Lazarski, a faithful servant of her God, Jehovah, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2017 at Middletown Park Manor. She was 95.
The daughter of the late Leroy and Luna Mason Richardson, she was born on January 15, 1922 in Danielson, Ct. Betty married Walter Lazarski in August of 1941 in Bristol, CT. Walter predeceased her in 1998. Betty was an active member of Middletown North Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and she had a great love of her ministry. She enjoyed people and had a wonderful sense of humor. Betty was a dedicated mother and grandmother who valued family.
Betty is survived by her children, Walter Lazarski II and his wife Pauline of Forest Grove, OR, and daughters, Joanna L. Meyer and her husband Henry of Middletown, and Barbara Charest of Meriden, CT; and her six grandchildren, Timothy, Melanie, Micah, Jared, Beth and Rebecca as well as seven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2107 at 7:00 pm at Middletown North Kingdom Hall, 511 Mt. Hope Road, Middletown, NY 10940. Arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. www.applebee-mcphillips.com
