Obituary for Bertram St. Clair Watkins
Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Bertram St. Clair Watkins was the son of Seymore and Ismay Watkins. he was born in Barbados, West Indies on January 26, 1948. He married this childhood sweetheart, Carmen Chase Watkins, and she bore him two sons, Anthony Bertram Watkins and Jerry St. Clair Watkins.
He has three grandchildren, twin girls, Angela and Alaina, and his only grandson, Anthony Paul Watkins, all of Bertram's children and grandchildren have served in the military.
Bertram was a member of the AGAPE Love Outreach Ministry for 25 years, under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. Jessica Pryce. He served as an usher, he also sang in the church's choir.
Bertram loved to play cricket, he also loved to travel and he loved the ocean. He leaves a legacy of love, kindness and caring. He will be missed by his wife Carmen of 53 years, his children, grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, sisters Margaret and Lorraine, brothers Stephen and Carl and an extended family.
