Benjamin Leo Lambach of Brooksville, Florida, entered into rest on Saturday, June 2nd at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice House. He was 77 years old.

The son of Ames Benjamin Lambach and Ann Burns Lambach, he was born on March 27, 1930 in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Ben was a retired corrections officer with the State of New York and later as Head of Security from the Bayonet Point Hospital in the State of Florida. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War conflict.

Ben had a great love for his family, friends, community and his beloved America. Many will always remember him for his pleasant, easygoing ways and the positive influence he had on everyone, young and old. He was a volunteer fireman with the Circleville Fire Company for 25 years. Ben was the co-founder of the Circleville Drum and Bugle Corps. and a co-founder of the Town of Wallkill Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

Survivors include his loving wife, Patricia Mae Lambach of Brookville, FL, sister, Mary Claunch of Erie, PA; three daughters, Nancy Esses and her husband Isaac of Chester, Anne Gutierrez of Buford, GA, and Lori Criscenzo and her husband Vince of Middletown. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Erin Cross and her husband Darrin, Matt Esses, Leah Rosenberg and her husband Jeff and Ben and Sam Levine.

He was predeceased by his grandson, Jacob Arimento.

Friends and family are invited to attend a gathering at the home of his daughter, Lori Criscenzo, at 30 Watkins Avenue, Middletown, NY on Sunday, June 10 from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to any Hospice organization of your choice.
