Obituary for Barbara White
On Sunday, July 28th, Barbara White, 86, of Johnson, NY, reunited with the love of her life, Harry White. Born in Haverstraw, NY, Barbara spent her early years in her beloved hometown until she met and married Harry. Together, they built a life filled with love and devotion. Barbara was a pillar of strength and an incredible mother to her three boys, Shawn, Michael, and Darren. She embraced her daughters-in-law, Kathy and Nina, with open arms, loving them as if they were her own daughters.
Barbara’s nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply. Danny and his wife Melissa, Eric, Darren II and his wife Brittney, Shawna, Robert and his wife Meaghan all held a special place in her heart. Her joy multiplied with the arrival of her great-grandchildren Alana, Paisley, Isabella, Sofia, Cambria, Charleigh, and Ruby. Barbara’s home was always filled with laughter and love, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Barbara loved being a member of the Greenville Methodist Church for nearly 50 years and cherished her many friends at the Greenville Senior Group. She is preceded in death by her father John W. Conklin, mother Mary (Lent) Conklin, brother Wesley, sister Edith, and her baby son Timothy. Throughout her life, she exemplified kindness, love, and dedication to her family. Her legacy will continue through the lives of those she touched, and her spirit will remain a guiding light for her family. As they mourn her passing, they also celebrate the incredible life she lived and the countless ways she made the world a better place.
