Barbara Tinsley, a longtime resident and beloved Mother and Grandmother passed into rest Monday November 08, 2021 in Middletown NY. She was 78.
She was born on December 8th, 1942 in Harlem NY to the late Charles and Inez David. Predeceased by son Darryl Tinsley, her loving sisters Margaret, Loretta and brother Stephen David. She was an exceptional Registered Nurse and employee for the New York Blood Center for over 40 years. She loved bowling, eating out, shopping and traveling.
Mourning the loss of Barbara is her son, Bryant J. Tinsley, (Linda), and her granddaughters Ciara, Autumn, and Kelis, her brothers, Raymond, Charles Jr, (Helene) and Thaddaeus, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The viewing and Memorial Service will be held at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940, on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The family will have a private repass.
Interment will begin on Friday November 12, 2021 at Fair lawn Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum.
