Obituary for Audrey B. Holstein
Audrey B. Holstein, 89 of Williamsburg, VA passed away peacefully on August 29th ,surrounded by her three children.
Born in Middletown, NY, Audrey was the second youngest of 11 children.
In elementary school, she met the love of her life, William K. Holstein, her husband of 60 years, who
passed away in 2019.
Audrey graduated from Keuka College in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She dedicated herself to a career that included teaching neonatal care, serving as Director of Nursing for the Eden Park Nursing Home, and surveying
health facilities for the New York State Health Department.
As a beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt, Audrey spent her life caring for her children and grandchildren, along with countless nieces, nephews, and neighborhood kids.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses: Kurt Holstein(Jennie),William Holstein (Michelle), and Catherine Lintner(Thomas); her six beautiful granddaughters: Lauren, Kelsey, Sarah, Jackie, Audrey, and Melanie; and many nieces
and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on October 19 th at 11:00 a.m. at St John’s Lutheran Church, 391 Mt. Hope Road, Middletown, N.Y. 10940.
