Obituary for Arthur A. Adler, MD.
Dr. Arthur A. Adler, a Mt. Hope resident since 2003 died Saturday, March 4, 2006 at home with his wife Regina by his side. He was 95 years old.

The son of the late Aaron and Julia Boucher Adler, Arthur was born on November 1, 1910 in Werne, Germany. A survivor of the holocaust, Arthur attended medical school in Europe and served his medical residency at Yonkers General Hospital in Westchester County. From there, he opened a private practice in Spring Valley that spaned over 40 years. Dr. Adler was also affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY and the former Ramapo Hospital in Monsey, NY. Arthur married the former Regina Weiss in 1985 in Rockland County and in 1991 retired at the age of 80.

Dr. Adler and his wife moved to Mt. Hope where he lived his last three years.

Besides his wife at home, Arthur is survived by one son, Robert Maier and his fiancé Christine of Mt. Hope; one grand daughter, Kirby Renee Maier of Mt. Hope and several nieces, nephews and grand nephews of Austin, TX and Atlanta, GA. A family statement reads:” To all who knew him, he will be greatly missed”.

Graveside services will be held  Monday, March 6, 2005, 1pm at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ
