Arthur Gass, Jr, 53, of Spring Glen, NY, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center.
The son of the late Patricia Masker and Arthur Gass, Sr., he was born on July 30, 1961 in Mahwah, NJ. he worked as an electrician for Ball Corp. in Middletown. He was married his wife Joanna and they shared 11 happy years together. He came to the area from Appenzal, PA 20 years ago and was a member of IBEW #130. He was a man of character; honest, honorable and straight forward.
In addition to his beloved wife, Joanna, he is survived by his children, Arthur Gass III, Stephen Gass and his wife Jennifer and daughter Lauren and her husband Fred Johnson III. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth and eight grandchildren, Jillian, Juliet, Arthur Joseph, Rachel, Alyssa, Ciara, Stephen, and Sage.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Celebration of Life will be held at 8 pm on Wednesday, March 11 at the funeral home.
Cremation will be private.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Celebration of Life will be held at 8 pm on Wednesday, March 11 at the funeral home.
