Antimo “Tim” J. Pezzullo of both Middletown and Lakeville, PA, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at N.Y.U. Medical Center in New York, NY. He was 69 years old.
Tim was born in NYC on November 30, 1940 to the late John Mario and Anna Flora Gentile Pezzullo. Antimo proudly served his country in the Army National Guard for six years.
He worked as a high school teacher for the NYC School System until his retirement. He had a strong interest in history and was a member of the Theodore Roosevelt Association. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Tim is survived by his brothers Lawrence A. Pezzullo of Fallbrook, CA, and John M. Pezzullo of Middletown, he is also survived by two nephews, two nieces, three great grandnieces and nine great grandnephews.
Visitation hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral
Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 10, at 11 am at St. Joseph's RC Church, 149 Cottage Street in Middletown. Entombment with Military honors will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home.
