Obituary for Anne M. Dineen
Anne M. Dineen, a lifelong resident of Middletown and devoted mom and grandparent, entered into rest after a long illness surrounded by her family. The daughter of Vito and Dorothea Giuliano, she was born on October 6, 1936 in Middletown, one of five children. Anne graduated from Middletown High School Class of 1954 and attended Orange County Community College. She was an avid NY Yankees Fan and enjoyed attending her Grandchildren’s sporting and concert events. She enjoyed preparing home-made Italian dishes for Family gatherings. She was caring , loyal and humorous; and throughout her whole life was always fun to be around. She married her best friend and soulmate , Francis "Mickey" Dineen on May 4.1958 at St. Joseph's Church ,where she was a devout Parishioner and a member of the Choir, Alter Rosary Society and Catholic Daughters. Together they raised three children and celebrated 37 years of marriage before Mickey's death in August of 1995. Anne will be remembered for her sense of humor, her compassion and her unwavering faith. Of her many accomplishments, she took the most pride in her family. They were always first in her life as wife, Mom, grandmother and great grandmother. She cherished every child that came into the family. Her spirit will live in our hearts forever.
