Obituary for Angelo J. Gulotta
Angelo J. Gulotta, a longtime area resident, died Sunday August 20, 2006 at St. Teresa’s Nursing Home, Middletown. The son of the late Charles and Mary Gulotta, he was born January 25, 1934 in the Bronx. Angelo married Rachel Costa on Valentine’s Day 1954 in The Church Of St. Teresa Woodside, NY. Together they celebrate 52 years of marriage. Angelo was a generous man, who loved the finer things in life like, Frank Sinatra, Cadillacs and a good game of pool. He is survived by his loving wife, Rachel at home, one daughter, Denise Monteforte and her husband, Joseph of Middletown; two sons, Michael Gulotta and his wife, Cindy of Middletown and Philip Gulotta and his wife, Reagan Paul, of Gotha, FL as well as 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Angelo was predeceased by 1 brother and 2 sisters. Family and Friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Wednesday, August 23rd at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 24th at 11 am in St. Joseph’s  RC Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Middletown.
