Angela Caputo, a longtime Middletown resident, entered into eternal rest on Christmas Eve, surrounded by her adoring family. She was 76.
The daughter of the late Domenico and Carmela Bonarrivo Giunta, she was born on December 20, 1944 in Pozzallo, Ragusa, Italy. She married Joseph Caputo in 1968 in Brooklyn, NY and together they moved to Middletown to raise their family. Angela loved providing for her family with the best foods, an immaculate home, and her enduring love. She is described as a sweet, generous, kind and compassion woman who never had a bad thing to say about anyone, and would do anything to help someone in need. She was a loyal and devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, her presence will be missed by her family.
She is survived by her husband Joseph at home, her two daughters, Marisa Stramiello and husband John, and Stefania Sande and her husband Andrew. She is also survived by her siblings, brother Corrado and his wife Enza, sister Teresa and husband Pietro, brother Carmelo and wife Maria, sisters, Silvania and husband Rosario, and Concetta and her late husband Carmelo; and her six beloved grandchildren, John, Anthony, Joseph and Ava Stramiello, and Maja and Luke Sande. Sister-In-Law Angelina Rudden, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Angela is predeceased by her In Laws, Stefano and Angelina Caputo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 11 am at St. Joseph's Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY 10940. Arrangements are made under
