Obituary for Angel Garcia
Angel Garcia, a four year resident of the area died Thursday, June 15th at O.R.M.C. Horton Campus. He was 48 years old.The son of Carmen Maysonet Garcia and the late Luis Garcia, Angel was born July 9, 1957 in Queens, N.Y.He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary, at home; three loving children, Angelo Garcia and his companion, Nichole Ortiz, of Ellenville, Jesus Garcia and his companion, Anita Rivera, of the Bronx, N.Y. and Tyicha Garcia and her companion, Jerome Kirby, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; eight cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Adriana, Jeremy, Aliza, Pharo, Angel, Andrew and Victor; two brothers, Luis Garcia and his wife, Nilsa, of the Bronx, N.Y., Alberto Garcia of Florida; two sisters, Carmen Garcia of the Bronx, N.Y. and Lordes Cruz and her husband, Ruben, of Puerto Rico; as well as several nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his father and his sister, Margarita Garcia.Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, June 19th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown.A Funeral service of remembrance will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 20th at 11a.m. at the funeral home.Burial will follow in the family plot in Bloomingburg Cemetery, Bloomingburg.
