“Andy” Seibert died on January 11, 2022 in Port Jervis, New York. He was 72.
He was born to Andrew J. Seibert Sr. and Susann Stevens Seibert in Brooklyn, New York on November 26, 1949.
He worked as a heavy machinery mechanic and welder. He met his sweetheart Michele on a blind date in 1992 and they were married on January 31, 1993.
They moved to Middletown in 1999 with their daughter Susann.
Andy enjoyed nature and the outdoors, riding his motorcycle and repairing machinery. He and Michele were caring parents and doting grandparents to their three grandchildren.
Andy was a cantankerous, but kind man. Everyone who spent time with him could feel his caring personality. He will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was a member of The Remnant, a Christian motorcycle group. He was also a member of Family of Faith Lutheran Church. He enjoyed the fellowship of friends that he had made throughout the years.
Andy is survived by his wife Michele, His daughter Susann Ortega (Carlos Ortega) , his cherished grandchildren; Aaron, Joel, and Melody, father and mother in-law; Otto and Millie Matjevich, sister-in-law Nicole Matjevich, cousins; John Tracey, Suzanne Marzan, and Marianna Marzan.
He is pre-deceased by his mother Susann.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 12 to 3 P.M., with a Service of Remembrance at 2 P.M. at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, New York.
Donations can be made, in Andy’s name, to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
