Alicja Sulek Clark a longtime resident of Middletown entered into rest on Friday, November 18, 2011 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 59 years old. Alicja was born in Wojnicz, Poland on May 17, 1952 to Zofia Zagrodnik Hajdo and the late Michal Hajdo.
Alicja was an amazing woman who was spiritual, industrious and capable of meeting any challenge. She was a loving mom and babcia and will always be remembered for her courage and strong faith.
Alicja is survived by her mother Zofia in Poland, two sons Miroslaw Sulek and his wife Iwona of Poland and Dariusz Sulek and his wife Agnieszka of Chicago, brother Tadeusz Hajdo and his wife Eugenia , nephews Piotr and Morcia Sulek, and niece Ola Hajdo and many relatives and friends both here and Poland.
Visitation hours are 5-8PM Wednesday, November 23, at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY 10940. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 5:30 PM at the funeral home with Fr. Joseph officiating. A Funeral Mass and burial will take place in Poland at the Cmentarz-Komunalny, Wojnicz on December 2, 2011.
