Obituary for Alfredo Orsini, Jr.

Alfredo Orsini, Jr., a retired engineer for AT & T in NYC, died unexpectedly on May 18, 2020 at his home. He was 70 years old.

One of the late Alfredo Orsini, Sr. and Catalina Benito Orsini's eight children, he was born on May 9, 1950 in New York, NY. Alfredo grew up in NYC and worked as an engineer for AT& T. He married Edna Betancourt and they moved to the Middletown area to raise their family together. Alfredo was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Alfredo enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, gardening, golfing and bird watching. He loved music, dancing and being at the party with his family and friends. He was proud of his heritage and loved his family deeply.

In addition to his wife Edna, Alfredo is survived by his children; son, Alfredo Orsini, III and his wife Lauren:
daughter Suehaily Reaves and her husband Timothy ; and son Marco Orsini; one brother, Efrain Orsini, and five sisters, Jenoveva Orsini Jones and her husband Charles, Ivette Orsini, Daisy Benito, Miriam Orsini, and Catalina Orsini Sendra. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Timothy and Paloma Reaves, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and one sister, Nilda Orsini.

Services begin at 10 am on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc and will be webcast. A Service in Celebration of Alfredo's Life will be held at 11:15 am.
