Formerly of Long Island

Alfred H. Ladmer, a home builder, land developer and realtor formerly of Lynbrook, Jericho, Wading River and Patchogue; and recently of several locations in Orange County including Middletown Park Manor, entered into rest on Monday, March 8, 2010.

Al was born in Brooklyn on March 17, 1915 to Sam and Anna; one of 8 children.

He was the wodower of Lucille Peyser Ladmer.

Al is survived by his loving daughter, Edith McLean and her husband Frank of Montgomery; son William Ladmer of Columbia South Carolina and daughter, Susan Ladmer of Petersboro, New Hampshire. He is also survived by his grandchildren, David McLean and his wife Charlene, Kathryn Valentin and her husband Peter, and Elizabeth (Lisa) McLean all of Middletown, Dr. David and his wife Dr. Angela Ladmer of Minneapolis, MN, Lisa Ladmer Price and her husband Jeff Price of Seattle, WA and Aaron Rosenbaum and his wife Jessica of Hillsboro, CA; great-grandchildren Patrick and Emily McLean, Rebeka and Maya Valentin, Kyle and Krystal Youngberg, Rowan, Rapheal and Talia Price, Emma and Gabriel Ladmer and Lila, Ilan and Sivana Rosenbaum; one sister, Ida Gordon and a brother, Charles (Chubby) Warren. He also leaves many nieces and nephews; especially Fern, Sheryl and Bobbi.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Matteo, and Matty and brothers

Jack Warren Ben Ladmer and David Warren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. Burial will take place at a later date in Brick Church Cemetery in Montgomery.

Memorial contributions in Al's name may be made to the charity of one's choice.
