Alex Salgado, a lifetime resident of Middletown, and recently of Largo, Fl. died unexpectedly on Monday, January 3, 2011 in Largo. He was 35. The son of the late Alejandro and Judy Heater Salgado , he was born on September 9, 1975 in Middletown. Alex attended Middletown Schools and was the owner of Divine Contracting in Middletown.
He will be remembered by his family and friends as a very caring man who was always there to help others. Alex was a lot of fun to be with and everyone loved him.
He is survived by his longtime significant other, Jennifer Jones; his sons Jaycob, Camren, Jerzey, and Cayden of Florida and Devin of Spring Valley and Jose of Queens. He is also survived by two brothers Joe of Middletown and Adam of Florida, his sister Sandy Offenheiser and her husband Robert of Middletown and his nieces and nephews Rayna Offenheiser, and Jose, Alexandra and Jasmine Salgado.
Alex was predeceased by his parents Alejandro and Judy Salgado.
Cremation was private. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 1 to 3 PM at Applbee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc. 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY 10940. Pastor Steve Offringa will officiate.
