Master Sargeant Albert Busiccia, Retired U.S,. Army, died on October 29, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was 87.
The son of the late Rosolini and Isabella Gaetani Busicchia, he was born on January 11, 1930 in New York City. He worked as an Electrician for NYC Transit Authority and served in the National Guard in addition to his time in the U.S. Army. He was a fun loving man who was loved by all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his son Pasquale, his wife Dolores, and his borthers Arthur, Alfred and Americo Busicchia.
Albert is survived by his two sons, Tony and Russel Busicchia dn his sister Rose Busicchia; his beloved nephew Wayne and his wife Terri Busicchia; many nieces and nephews and grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his companion Lorraine Warner.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc., 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 9:30 am on Thursday, November 2, entombment will follow in the family crypt in Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee, NJ.
Wayne and Terri would like to thank Elant Assisted Living and Elant Nursing Home for the wonderful care they gave him while he was there. They would also like to thank O.R. M. C. for the care and compassion they gave to him and the family while he was there.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Albert’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
