It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alanna A Kochovos, a beloved daughter, sister, niece, and friend, on August 17, 2023 at the age of 15. Alanna was born on September 18, 2007, and brought joy and warmth to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Alanna is survived by her loving mother, Michelle Freudenberg, and her cherished sister, Aryanna Freudenberg. She will also be forever remembered by her brothers: Jeremy, Nicholas, and Joey Kochovos. Her paternal grandmother Linda Kochovos. Alanna's uncle, Ralph Freudenberg Jr., and his wife, Sarah Freudenberg, held a special place in her heart.
Alanna's father, Jorge Kochovos, and brother, George Kochovos, preceded her in death, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was also predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Karen A Freudenberg, and maternal grandfather, Ralph Freudenberg Sr. Her Uncle Eric Freudenberg shared in her journey as well.
A beautiful soul with an artistic spirit, Alanna's passion for drawing illuminated her world. Her dreams of opening an art gallery and publishing her own book were a testament to her creativity and determination. Alanna had an unyielding love for music and was known for curating the perfect playlist for every family trip.
Alanna's kindness knew no bounds, as she always extended a helping hand to those in need. She had a remarkable bond with her mother, being her constant companion and a source of unwavering support.
Alanna's memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her radiant smile, kind heart, and artistic talents will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
Rest in peace, dear Alanna. Your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
To celebrate Alanna's vibrant life, a memorial service will be held on Monday, September 4, 2023, at Soul Purpose Church located on 11 Certified Drive, Middletown, NY 10940. Friends and family may pay their respects between 11:00 -12:00 with a service to follow. In honor of Alanna's favorite color, please wear the color purple to the service, a reflection of her vibrant spirit.
