AGNES MARY O’BRIEN May 10, 1949 - January 4, 2012 Formerly of Middletown, NY Agnes Mary O’Brien, a registered nurse, of Boiling Spring Lakes, formerly Middletown, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Dosher Memorial Hospital in Southport, NC. She was 62 years old. Agnes was born on May 10, 1949 in the Bronx to James J. Sr. and Yolanda "Babe" Scumaci O’Brien.
Agnes is survived by her mother, Yolanda "Babe" O’Brien, of Boiling Springs Lakes; a brother, James J. O’Brien, Jr. and his wife, Linda of Cortlandt Manor; a sister, Barbara Glidden and her husband, Herb of Boiling Spring Lakes; a nephew, Marc Glidden; two nieces, Nancy Pisciotti and her husband, Steven, and Karen Enea and her husband, Michael; two great-grandnephews, Jake and Alex Enea; two great grandnieces Jenna and Emma Pisciotti, and many beloved cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her father, James in 2009, and her brother, John.
Visitation hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, 130 Highland Ave. Middletown, NY 10940. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, at St. Joseph’s R. C. Church Cottage St. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Cottage St., Middletown.
