Natalie O. Sink
October 3, 1922-May 17, 2017
Port Jervis, NY
Natalie O. Sink, a lifetime area resident, died peacefully on May 17, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 94.
The daughter of the late Frank and Clara Altenfeld Overton, Natalie was born at home on October 3, 1922 in Westtown, NY. Natalie was the wife of Paul E. Sink, and they shared over 40 years of marriage together before his death in 1989. She worked for many years in retail, which served her passion for fashion. Shoes were also an obsession for her. She loved to travel, both locally and globally. She was able to travel the world in her lifetime and also felt that a day was not complete with out a trip somewhere. She was an active Daughter of the American Revolution and a past Vice Regent of NYS DAR. She was also a local history buff. Natalie was a faithful member of Ridgebury Presbyterian Church until very recently. She was a bright and thoughtful lady who enjoyed her crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her loving son Allen and his wife Susan of Port Jervis, sisters, Frances Hulle of Middletown and Joanne Fellion and her husband Don of Bonanza, OR; and grandchildren, Jason, Holly, Brian, Paul, Jeremy and Kimberley; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews and her good friend Linda Slovik.
In addition to her husband Paul, she was predeceased by one son, Roy in 2010.
