Mary McKeever, an Activity Director atValley View Nursing Home, died surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 10, 2017 at her home in Bloomingburg. She was 79.
The daughter of the late Francis and Irene Bloxsom Bischert, she was born on September 22, 1937 in Liberty, NY. Mary lived in the area for most of her life and was a member of the Bread of Life Church in Bullville, NY. Mary was predeceased by her first husband, Ralph Delarede. On April 27, 2002, Mary married Sean McKeever in Bloomingburg.
Mary will be remembered as loving, caring and charitable; all of the kids always called her Grandma. She was a good cook who made great meatballs. She enjoyed gardening and loved watching the hummingbirds. Mary liked to spend time at Hampton Beach with her family and especially liked to spend time with the children.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Sean at home; and her children, Matthew Delarede and his wife Tina of Conway, S.C., and three daughters, Julie Delarede and Theresa Conklin and her husband Rick all of Bloomingburg, and Mary Coddington and her husband Scott of Middletown. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Buddy, Elizabeth, Hannah, Walt Jr., Keith, Max, Stephanie, Damien and Pete; and greatgrandchildren, Emelia and Mason.

Visitation hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the funeral home, Pastor Bert Lloyd will officiate.
